Fairfox Ltd
A small company specialising in arranging, designing, and managing adaptations and home improvements in Kent. The partners have a combined experience of 50 years in supporting clients to arrange vital improvements and alterations that allow them to stay in their homes and maintain their independence.
We put our clients at the heart of what we do and provide support and advice specially tailored to their needs.
We are accredited by Foundations as a Home Improvement Agency (HIA) which means we meet the standards required by the national body for HIA's.

About us
We work closely with our clients to design schemes that will allow them to maximise the potential of their home so they can keep living in the place that means so much to them.
We work mainly with local contractors who specialise in carrying out adaptations and we continuously monitor their performance and quality, ensuring you receive the best service possible.
Who are we?
Tristan Bruce- MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with over 20 years experience, specialising in designing disabled adaptations and domestic building works.
Helen Moore- HNC Surveyor with over 25 years experience working for and with Local Authorities, specialising in disabled adaptations, advice and support.
Property surveys
We carry out surveys and/or inspections in connection with adaptations and repairs to your home.
We also carry out housing stock condition surveys .
Design and Specification
We prepare drawings and specifications for building works for both private and grant funded projects.
We also prepare plans and specifications for building regulation and Planning approval.
Quality control
We monitor and quality check works carried out by contractors to ensure good standards of workmanship for our clients.
Grant applications
We assist clients to submit grant applications, including form completion, gaining permissions for work, collating supporting evidence and means testing.
We offer advice in connection with legislation and guidance such as 1996 Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act, Disabled Facilities Grant delivery, Housing Act 2004.
For clients not wishing to pursue grants, we are able to arrange private Occupational Therapists assessments.
Advice and Signposting
We offer advice across a range of subjects including applying for grants, administering adaptations, energy efficiency measures and referring clients to appropriate alternate organisations that could be beneficial.
Joint working
We work closely with Local Authorities, including Occupational Therapists, to ensure schemes are designed that are suitable for clients. We can offer advice on the feasibility of adaptations and improvements.
